End in Mind
Discover what makes high school the golden years of homeschooling!
Amber L.
Homeschool Mom of three
“Begin with the End in Mind helped fill in some questions I had about the teen years, and I appreciated Carole's perspective on intentional character formation for those teen/young adult years.”
Gain long-term vision.
Many families exit the homeschool community when their children go into high school. They underestimate the joy these years can hold. They doubt their ability to give their kids the education they need.
But let me tell you a secret: the high school years are “The Golden Years” of homeschooling.
This is when the payoff for all your hard work comes! After all these years of pouring into your child, discipleship goes to a whole new level.
The teen years are the time to bolster connection and develop true life skills.
Instead of drifting through your child’s education, gain a vision that will sustain you for the long-haul of homeschooling through high school.
Whether your kids are still in diapers or you have teens, Begin with the End in Mind provides a framework that will help you homeschool with confidence through every stage.

Carole Joy Seid
HMS Founder
Carole came into the homeschool movement kicking and screaming. With a masters degree in education, Carole never gave a thought to homeschooling until she learned about the research shared with her through Dr. Raymond and Dorothy Moore. It was counterintuitive to everything she learned in graduate school, but she was convinced.
Carole’s heart is to carry on the Moore’s legacy of letting research lead our educational decisions. For over 35 years, Carole has helped families homeschool using great books.
J. J. Seid
HMS Board President
J. J. was homeschooled except for a short stint at private school to see what he was missing. As it turned out, homeschooling gave him the freedom to pursue his own interests. J. J. has an M.A. in Biblical Studies and a Doctorate of Educational Ministries in Executive Leadership. He uses his unique perspective and pastoral heart to teach homeschool families.
J. J. serves as the Leadership Development Pastor for Frontline Church’s five congregations across the Oklahoma City metro area. J. J. and his wife, Kristen, met in college, and they are now the grateful homeschool parents of Eisley, Ryle, Schaeffer, and Brinker.

“It's EASY to doubt this method when you get to high school, but DON'T! This is when the fruit is so clearly seen. Cherish the time you have without being absolutely stressed out and burnt out on learning! It's so worth it!!”
